So I have the propane connector next to the front steps (quick connect?) to which I would like to connect a Blackstone griddle. Problem is (and I see others posting something similar) is the Blackstone regulator? I have tried slowly opening the quick connect valve or opening that valve completely and slowly opening the valves on the propane tank. Regardless, only small flames. The only solution is to connect the griddle directly to one of the tanks.
What solution(s) are there to this issue?

As stated above. And, if the hose you are using attaches to the Blackstone regulator (the smaller models) you may need a new hose end as well.

This is the Blackstone regulator you do not need hooked up to use the low pressure QC port on the trailer:

This is the correct hose end from the low pressure QC port connected to a smaller (17") Blackstone: (looks just like the brass fitting on the right above)

That will work as well...........but the key is no "double regulation".........sounds like overtime?

PS - pic above is my home patio 17" model - I've got a 36" as well but after getting the 17" I have not used the 36" (just 2 of us)

So I need this brass connector, but can't seem to find it on Amazon. If you know where I can get it, I'd appreciate it. I see many possible options on Amazon, but they all say they are for specific Coleman stoves.

how about this:

It has a flared fitting so I believe you'll need a hose that matches that fitting and a quick-connect on the other end. I don't actually own a blackstone grill so I'm not as knowledgeable as others may be.

The secdond one that SRS lists is the one I have Fitting and hose for our 17" works great.

Pic / link to the hose(s) you have...........?

You can likely just remove fittings from the hose end you have and replace with what SRS and Centex have linked above.................easy peasy.............or not!

You need this fitting and this hose. That will allow you to use the hose on other items such as a fire pit.

I do not suggest getting the hose with the fitting attached, as this limits your use of the hose. Note that this ONLY will work on the 17 & 22 inch PORTABLE Blackstone models.

My travel buddy insisted on hard plumbing his hose to his gas two burner Camp Chef stove and I watch him every time he puts it away and its a pain to roll up the hose and try to get it to stay in place as he stuffs it in its huge carry bag.

When you get other things that you need to hook the hose QD to all you need are these male gas connectors.

I had one of those hoses that had a 1"x20tpi connector to fit the gas regulator in place of the one pound throwaway bottles. The end was permanently made onto the hose and I could not remove it to install a quick disconnect. Yours may be the same way. I ended up trashing the hose as it would not pass any gas when connected to a propane torch, etc. something wrong inside the end of it, possibly some of the hose liner shaved off during manufacture.

So, it turns out only 1 house has the quick connect end on it (pictured). But I'll need a transition for the other end to connect to the stove. I've also provide a pic of my fire pit connection as I'll need a different transition for it.

Thanks everyone!

you are going to spend as much time and money buying fittings to adapt then just getting the hose that will allow you to do the job. My other concern is the more adaptors the more chance of a leak.

Your second picture looks like it may be a fire pit. My fire pit does not work with the quick connect. The quick connect does not allow enough propane to get anything more then a very low flame on the fire pit. I tried !
But If you want to connect it to the quick coupler you will need to once again get rid of the silver regulator-and (it does not come off) that hose. You will need a different hose and a valve without a regulator on it to be able to ajust the flame.
If you figure it out let us know, I would like to be able to do that also.

I agree with occer: probably best and not much more expensive to just get the hose without any attachments. Strange that the fire pit wouldn't work off the quick connect. I'll probably try with something anyhow instead of having to directly access the propane tanks.

The one Occer linked on Amazon is the one we purchased and it works on our fire pit and Blackstone grill
