Pull Out Cutting Board?

Just saw a 21C for sale that has a pull out cutting board between the sink and stovetop, above the top drawer. Was unable to get a large enough photo to see any details. Has anyone on the forum done this who can give me details on how to do it?

I think that it was posted as a mod several years ago. I remember because I asked my wife if she'd like me to do it and she said no.

Maybe some searching will find it.

P.S. I still think that it's a useful mod.

Further investigation reveals an AC wire which serves the outlet runs across the front of the cabinet close to where the cutting board slot would be cut. Not enough slack to reroute. Going to require some more thought.

You might try cutting the wire or wires and adding some length.
One question is this the thermostat wires or the 120 power feed

Just saw you were looking into my pull out cutting board. My outline in text gives most of the info for mod. Cutting slot was as I remember with a fine tooth hacksaw blade. Slowly on the line! I remember when I was doing the slot in cabinetry that if this doesn't pan out, how will I patch the hole? IKEA cutting board was perfect size and finished with a front fiddle for handle.
