Reace and Tammy Retire

Hi Reace,
They’re doing quite a bit of aerial spraying with helicopters in Iowa these days. And there are 99 counties with county fairs and the state fair with rodeo events at most of them. So crop hopping, cattle sorting and visiting friends on the weekends. You’re too young to just not work. Just saying.

HAPPY TRAVELS and RETIREMENT Reace and Tammy!!! Thank you for all your endless hard work so that we and so many others have and will continue to ENJOY!! Suzy and Frank

All the best in your new life as retirees, Reace & Tammy. Congratulations. My wife & I did not have the opportunity to meet with either of you when picking up our Escape 17B on June 3 this year. But we read so much good comments on your achievements with ETI.
Bonne Retraite.

Reace and Tammy, best wishes to you both on your next endeavors. Skip and I have been enjoying some cool weather in the Colorado Rocky Mtns for the past two weeks, spending tonight at a KOA in Lubbock, tomorrow, home (for what's left of the heat wave). Still loving our Escape 21; it has served us very, very well. Thanks for building it, for marketing it, and for carrying our custom fabric home with you from the Bluebonnet Casita Rally four years ago! :confetti:

Congratulations!

Congratulations Reace and Tammy! You built incredible trailers, a great company, and a lasting community. We, in the Escape Community, are all connected because of you. Thank you for the personal touch, our dream trailer, and terrific lifelong friends! Enjoy!

Hello, Outstanding. hooray for capitalism.

You dreamed, built, worked, grew and harvested the fruits of your labors. Please become a teacher and teach others this, both countries need it. Well the US does for sure.

All the best in your new life. If I meet you out and about I owe you a beer, coffee or ice cream.

I can see it now.

Reace and I being newly retired were looking for something to do so Reace took up helicopter lessons. After gaining his licence Reace started landing the helicopter in our back yard after his daily flights and soon we had people knocking on the door asking if we did helicopter tours. Reace and I looked at each other and said, "How hard can it be?". And so, Escape Helicopter Tours was born. We started with one small helicopter based out of an old chicken barn on the outskirts of Abbotsford Airport ...................

Lol ....perfect...may we book for next spring right after the rally?

Perfect! Now you'll have time to bring Tammy with you on your next "Tour de Lower 48" and get her down to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, Alabama, let her ride a horse in the gulf coast surf and eat some of the best seafood in the South. Let us know when you're coming, and we'll share with you our personal tried-and-true list of "you've just got to eat there" seafood restaurants in the area. Until then, enjoy your new-found freedom! Dale & Elaine

Congratulations Reace and Tammy! What accomplishments. A great product, a great company, and a great community. Now go out and have a great retirement. I’m sure it will be just as impressive.

I seem to remember Reace up in a helicopter in 2014 trying to take a picture of all of us on the ground at Osoyoos looking up as they flew over Nk Mip.

I remember that, we were all in a large group waiting. Then a helicopter went by and we were still standing there, sorta waiting for the helicopter to come back, hover and get a photo of all of us waving. Then we found out that the fly by was it, they weren't allowed to hover in that area. :)

Sorry I never had the chance to meet you Reace and Tammy. Our RV purchase is a few years down the road when we sell our current abode and move to cheaper real estate near our kids and grandkids in western NY.

Enjoy!

It seems there is a local or tribal protocol that was not followed for helicopters in Osoyoos, OTOH there used to be helicopter rides at the cg entrance?? never made sense to me...

Congratulations on your retirement Reace and Tammy. I know you will enjoy a slower pace. Come visit us all in Texas if you get a chance. Take care and happy travels.

Well, it makes sense to the Canadian equivalent of the FAA.
That helicopter that flew sight seeing tours always took off and landed using the same approach and never over the campground.

I've asked pilots to do a lot of things to get a better picture, but they'd rather keep their license.

If you do fly in a fixed wing or helicopter to take pictures, set your camera for the highest shutter speed available and don't touch the window with the lens (vibration is the problem ). And, ask the pilot if he will remove the window or the entire door.

Southern Hospitality Awaits You

Reace and Tammy,

When you plan a trip to the Eastern U.S., please make sure you come see us in East Tennessee. We have a great pull through site for you, and you’re welcome to stay in our home, as well.

Earline said there will be plenty of Southern cooking in addition to her pies.
