Howdy Folks, Debby and Sidney Gibson here from Bandera, Texas.
Sid and I purchased a new Casita Independence on September 15, 2016. It was all my idea, wife here, but husband was compliant. Yes he bumped his head more than once on our maiden voyage but we had fun and loved being on the road together.
We then began taking a few trips with my brother and his wife in their new Mercedes Sprinter. We quickly realized that during wind and rain neither of us had a place for 4 to sit and play a game or have a meal comfortably. UGGGH
Sid, my husband, can be restless at night with neuropathy and there was no table in the Independence for him to sit up in.
Thus at the Bandera Casita Rally we were introduced to the Escape and fell in love. Bob and Yolanda from San Antonio joined us for dinner and gave us some good pointers about their experience with their Escape.
Put the Casita up for sale the Monday after the rally and with ten days on the market and first caller drove from Houston with a good cash offer. Every body happy! Should be ordering our Escape in the next day or two.
Life is good and will be even better when we're on the road enjoying the beauty all around us.
