Running Google on my iPad and response times are fine. As I said earlier a desktop PC with Windows 7 and IE 10 just creeps along. It reminds me of the dial up days, how quick we forget.
I'm getting the exact same pop-up, but I'm running IE9. It's really aggrevating .I am seeing the same thing - the page is locked, and CPU busy until I get a pop-up asking me if I want to terminate a long-running script. I am running IE8. I also see a page error. There must be a bug or loop in some javascript related to facebook.
I'm using a little netbook with Firefox and it's zippity doo dah! Rosemary is using Chrome, (ptewwie), and it is running normal as well.
Most folks are on PCs and using IE.
Are the administrators aware of the problem?
I keep getting a Windows Explorer message: "Stop Running This Script? A Script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive." The only way I can continue is to hit YES to stop running the script. This happens every time I change pages. Very annoying. I am running IE8 and Windows 7. My computer is not running slowly.
