Recall on 2024 Escape Trailers

Just saw a NHTSA bulletin recalling all 2024 Escape trailers for LED backlight circuit board failure fire risk. Anyone have an update? As usual, ETI phones go to voicemail.

I read one thread that it had something to do with the red backlight and not the blue. However, the link provided and the document I downloaded did not mention the color of the backlight.

I have a 5.0 currently being built. I was told when finalizing the build sheet that the Suburban 3 burner stove with the oven can no longer have the wiring to the lights for the burner handles and the oven light due to the possibility of water causing a short.
At that time Suburban hadn’t come up with a solution to fix the problem.

Hats off to Escape for notifying customers directly. The Suburban ranges affected by this recall are commonly used in many RVs.
