register new trailer without domicile

We are picking up our new 21C, in BC around mid Sept. By that time we will have abandoned our domicile in Vermont, heading for Oregon. Interested in suggestions how we register the trailer once we are back in the USA. I've read some folks have not bothered to register but not sure I'm comfortable with that.

Are you planning to live in Oregon, make it your domicile? IF so, wait until you get here and have a physical address.

most likely will stay in Oregon (i'm a native) don't you have to live there 6 months to claim domicile. wonder if we can get away with it for a few months?

No time limit for domicile. To vote, you need to register 21 days BEFORE an election and all voting is done by mail. While your ballot could be mailed to a PO Box, you need a physical address because of different tax bases. Good luck

I just insured mine for pickup. Then didn't register it for a while, was working on. But, ALL my mail has been going through P.O. Boxes for 30 yrs. 1st snowplows, then traveling. But I did/do have a physical address. Use a friend's for where you think you'll end up? My parents were in the South Pacific for years, used my father's brother's address for some things.
