Hi. We noticed a leak related to the connection to city water. Found the part to replace it (see link below). Reviews indicate it is easy to replace. It was not on our 21 due to no play in the length of the pipes so you're working in a really tight area. Anyway, the replacement part is on and works well, except that there is a humming sound every time we use the water in the trailer, even if we only have the tap on low. Sounds to me like the water is being restricted and the sound is coming from the area of the new part. Although we are still getting plenty of water to shower, flush the toilet etc.

This is the part: https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-A01...GNRS/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1

Before we remove and examine the connection, I wonder if the new part is slightly different from the old? The old one has been discarded so we can't look to see. But the new one has a red washer or possibly flow restrictor visible on the outside of the connection. Can anyone check to see if the old part has this? We haven't sealed the new part yet but since it was so difficult to install are reluctant to remove it if we don't have to.

We have always used a water pressure regulator and have never had this humming sound before. Any thoughts?
