Hi all,
Our 2006 17b's bathroom vent cover is leaking like a sieve, we've measured the opening and were thinking about replacing it but it's 10in x 10in and we haven't been able to locate one that size online.
Has anyone scraped out the old black seal trim and replaced it? If so what with?
The cover itself looks to be okay, but water is getting up under the lip on 3 edges (we've just hosed it down to see this happening).
Has anyone had this issue, and if so can offer a solution?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The opening of the vent is actually 9 1/4 x 9 1/4 ", and the opening mounted to the roof is plastic, and we're not too confidant about drilling holes in it :( as it is probably not as strong as it was when new.

AND if you have an opportunity to spray paint the plastic lid with Fusion (or other UV "protectant" paint, before the install.. do it.

Our bathroom vent started leaking and ended up applying sealant on the rivets and it has stopped. Seems that the front middle rivet was the one that leaked.

I wanted to suggest that also . I am glad I finally got rid of the vent , it was in 3 1/2 years starting to get brittle , just a matter of time . Pat

I should of added I also painted the lid with fusion paint , I also had gotten for outside stove vent that was yellowing . Still was getting brittle . The yellowing looked terrible on the trailer .
