RV power discharge problems and optimization suggestions

Hi everyone, this is my first time here.

When I was traveling recently, I found that the RV battery power dropped a little quickly, mainly because some devices consumed too much power in standby mode and the inverter efficiency was not ideal. In addition, the performance of photovoltaic charging and battery management system was not stable enough.

I learned that eFPGA technology can be used to optimize power management, such as:

Improve the efficiency of inverters and photovoltaic charging.

Allocate electricity more accurately and reduce waste.

Prolong the life of lithium batteries.

I am considering upgrading the system now, but I am not sure how effective it will be. I would like to ask everyone:

Has anyone tried similar power optimization solutions?

Are there any practical suggestions to reduce power consumption or improve efficiency?

Thank you!

I would start by reading the manuals for all the trailer appliances, and asking questions on the Forum if there is anything that needs clarification. Knowledge is Power.

(And in case anyone is wondering, FPGA is just another form of computer memory)

Don't forget it's Winter, and your solar system is producing its lowest output, given the hours of daylight, sun angle and possibly weather/cloud conditions.

As to improving electrical system efficiency, the best advice I have is "reduce your wants...simplify your needs". That, or add more battery capacity.

Methinks ye gentlemen are responding to a AI generator.

Ericsyun, tell us more about you. An Escape in Hong Kong? Any RV in HongKong? A precisely general attribution of information without any relevance to any identifiable piece of RV power consumers.

How do you precisely intend to use eFPGA in an Escape, or any known RV, since none off the current electronic hardware contain a sophisticated enough chip to piggyback a targeted system optimizer like a eFPGA chip.

Just my goofy thoughts…

I wondered about that. I've seen various types of RVs all over the world. Don't ever recall seeing one in HK.

Observe that our "answers" are very generic and useful to anyone. Yes, the bait was smelling a little fishy.

Yup, a fishy 1st time, spanking brand new poster, but I bit some. I did learn something about a near useless to me, difficult to integrate, computer eFPGA do-dad.

actually, a FPGA is programmable logic. its a generic chip circuit that can be customized for a specific application by programming the gates that interconnect the components on the chip... most commonly used during the engineering/design stage of a project where you will eventually use a fully customized chip but you need to prototype. In the context of RV power systems, everything written in the OP's post was babble.
