"Secret" customizations or standard options for 2016 21'

Got word from ETI , they no longer put switches in the door frame. Too bad, yours look nice Donna, I believe Pat has them, too. Good news, we are able to get a switched interior light:thumb:
I have a floor plan of the escape 21 with standard locations for plugs, but I do not see ceiling fixtures. Where are the ceiling fixtures located in the 21?
What additional plugs or outlets did you have installed by ETI? Where and why?
Thanks
Mary

On my 17B, they put the "porch" and "exterior peripheral" light switches (2) on the fridge cabinet near the doorway. I had requested an interior switch for them for safety reasons.

Wow,
Those of us with the older units have lucked out if this is true, the door switches are indispensable IMHO....

My switches are near the door, just not on the frame; and it's both switches together, side by side, not separate switches mounted in a column.

Sorry, I meant to snap a pic this afternoon; will try to do tomorrow.

Here's what I'm talking about

I like that placement better, you can get ot them with the screen door closed, or is it called open?

If ETI won't offer illuminated switches to indicate when switches are turned on or off (for outside lights as an example), one can always add a simple little in-line current indicator light near the switch.
