Side Effect's 1st Retirement Adventure

Tomorrow morning our 1st retirement adventure begins. 25 days from St. Louis to the Panhandle and back. Our longest trip so far was the 10 days coming back from Sumas when we picked her up 2 years ago.

We're loaded up. I have one last sales call at noon and when I get home I'll hitch her up so we can just hop in and roll out in the morning.

Our trip will be to the Florida panhandle.

Our last night here at Wallace Creek Campground in N Mississippi was quite the windy one. Our site is on a South facing point on the lake and we had and are still having steady 13 MPH wind with 30 MPH gusts out of the SSE.


But it’s hard to complain with a beautiful view out of the back window.

Just checked into Twiltley Branch Campground in Collinsville, MS.

Nice campground but there are signs that say Alligators Are Present. Yikes!

Probably not a good place for a midnight skinny-dip.
