Solving the Climb-over problem

Has anyone considered or implemented a small platform section that one could slide out from under a convertible dinette in the 17B? This could allow sleeping with heads at the rear of the trailer and feet in the aisle. This would block some cabinets and refrigerator at night, but could be worth that inconvenience.

My SIL did that with their 13' Scamp and they had no problem sleeping in that configuration. Then our niece was born and they purchased a 16' Scamp with a bigger bed with my niece sleeping on the front bench.
