Some clarity on some options

The problem is more than just installing a roof fan on top. And more than shading the refrigerator side of your trailer. Don't count on your cheap quality Camco solar panel to last very long in prolonged sun exposure. The soft plastic outer coating turns yellow and the cells quit producing power.

Fridge fan

Does anyone know who manufactures this "Fridge Fan" Is it Camco? where can we find more info and pictures. Can Reace or Tammy provide more advice and detail for this option?

These fans are a variation of the computer cooling fans that rv'ers have used for awhile in the rear of their refers to facilitate cooling. Various brands are in use. Airstreams have used them extensively on the side mount dual vent refers. You will see a switch right by the door on a lot of models to turn the fan on or off.
Camco makes the fans that sit inside the refer and help move the cool air around and the solar powered fan shroud up on the roof for models with roof exhaust.

Did u havve one installed in your Escape 21. I have read complaints that they can be noisey

Did not have one put in BlackJack. For several reasons, the noise as you mentioned and it seems they are needed only in very hot climates. In addition, with the roof vent of the 21 I can always retrofit a solar roof fan if needed.

In my Escape 19 I had no issue with the cooling efficiency of the refer, could depend on which model refer you select.

We live in Georgia and plan to spend a few months during the winter in South Florida with our 19 so the "Texas Fan" may be a necessity. Hope the one in the Escape will be a quality unit with a on off switch

From the first post in this thread....comes with master on/off switch:

"The 'Texas fridge fan' - This is an additional fan mounted on the exterior rear of the fridge to force air past the cooling fins to help the fridge cool on hot days. The kit includes a heat sensor switch to activate the fan when the temperature is high as well as a master on/off switch, which allows you to completely deactivate the fan if you choose."
