A 13 would make a lot of sense. There have to be lots of folks with small SUVs that would love to have a f.g. trailer that they could tow. Our Scamp 13, front bathroom did the job for us. Except for the having to drop the table and make it into a bed we might still have it.

Escape Trailer is building our most compact fiberglass trailer yet – little, cute, and oh so mighty. We can’t share all the details just yet (that’s part of the surprise 😉), but trust us, you won’t want to miss this launch.

Well it cannot be any larger than a 13' to remain as Escape's "most compact" fiberglass trailer yet. Will be interesting to see what they come up with. I really enjoy the smaller sizes and would have purchased a 13' years ago if any had been available when I found our 15.

Before we bought our 19, I was in the market for a small trailer for my wife and I (and dog). The only reason we didn't get one, my wife insists on a toilet.

I was looking across Canada for an A-Liner, even with a compostable toilet, when I stumbled on a local Escape for sale.

If the price is right, it should be a good seller.

I'll definitely be following the big reveal...

With the proliferation of mid-size crossover SUVs with tow capacities in the 3500lb range, I think the reintroduction of a well-designed 2000lb 13' model could be real winner for ETI.

ETI gave up sales quantity in favor of maximizing return per unit when they discontinued the 13'. The larger trailers were more profitable, and the facility's size limited the number they could produce (IIRC they probably were maxed out on production already). So it made sense for them, back then, to stop the 13'. Now things have changed. If ETI has excess capacity, tapping into the 13' segment adds sales and income.

I hope the trailer is better than the teaser video. The interior pictures are uninteresting. I’m expecting something innovative, techy, and expensive like other small trailers new to the market. No sign of that in the video, but we’ll see.

I just learned that sadly, Armadillo Trailers went out of business earlier this year.

They were a small BC-based manufacturer based in the northern Okanagan, I believe founded by former Bigfoot employees who built 13' trailers based on Boler/Lil Bigfoot designs.

I wonder if ETI acquired their molds?

Some of the 13's previously produced by Escape had a toilet (not sure about the shower). Our 15B has a toilet and shower.
That would have worked for us. We usually use the shower facilities at the campground. Or in my case, skip a shower here and there and/or wash up in the lake.

When we got our Escape, we fell in love with the wetbath. One of these seasons we will actually use the shower, but for now, it's only been used for toilet and sink duties.
