Spray Foam price on a 23 is double the price of a 21?

Any new 23 owners that got the spray foam option and would you know why it cost double the price of a 21? A 21 costs $965 and the 23 costs $1950 to spray foam and even more to add heat pads for $3250!!! Is it that much more work?

The 23' is longer and wider and it's tanks are at least 1/3 larger. I'm not surprised at the difference.

Just figured the sq/ft of the actual trailer. The 21 has around 127 sq/ft and the 23 is 184 sq/ft or nearly 50% more sq/ft. It's not double the sq/ft though.

ETI appears to have a new pricing approach which is to inflate the extras prices in the 23, both standard and optional. For example they make a big electronics package standard, but if you price out the components the margins are huge. Not surprised here to see them triple the price of the insulation. I’ll disagree with Perry, I don’t believe there’s 3X the BOM material cost here but instead they’re looking to pull in more margin.

Don’t know if they’ve done this with the other models but the 23 is pretty inflated. It’s not ‘shrinkflation’ but some other variant - stuff more at higher margins and inflate the options. Some kind of ‘stealthflation’.

I checked what you said I think your right, but Perry is somewhat right as I didn't really account for the larger tank sizes being almost double, but your point of inflating prices because this is their Premium Model and they are pricing it as such is correct. Also, noticed the Black Friday Inventory sale and none of the in stock 23's have the price reduction only the other models, which make me believe the orders for the 23 are the best model right now.

But the inflated price for colour option of the shell is really noticeable. $4500 for top or bottom colour and $9000 for mixed shell colour!!! That's 15% of the base price of the trailer just for a different colour other than white and you could argue that would be the easiest customization of the trailer...

The 23 is listed at 8' 10.5"
The 21 is listed at 8' 10", so a half inch shorter
