A Starlink antenna held on the roof by suction cups at freeway speeds? Terrifying thought. Or would it be removed for travel?

I wouldn't depend on anything other than through bolts to hold anything to the roof. Scary thought that something flies off and goes through the windshield of a following vehicle.

Yeah, like I said above, I would tether it if I left it on...
 
F1 cars have wheel tethers. Sometimes the wheel stays attached to the car, sometime not. :eek:

If it was needed at freeway speeds the results would be pretty ugly.

Well, I doubt I will be hitting 300KMH with my trailer in tow... thought I like your thinking...
