Based on inquiries made both on the forum and by PM, I thought it good to provide a thread as a repository of Flip-up table ('Stooge Table') information:

My 2015 - 17A has a Stooge Table at the left end of the kitchen. It is approx. 11" x 18", flush with the front of the kitchen counter.

(And No, I don't know where the name came from!).

Escape calls them counter extensions. We have two at the dinette and one at the drawers at foot of the bed.

Here's what I put on two of ours since they majorly flop around when the trailer is moving. The two in the dinette area are blocked in by massive amounts of pillows.

(Yeah, Dirk traveled in the back of the trailer when we went through a field at the SolarFest. I know, I know.)

The one I use the most in my 21 is an 18" X 8" table mounted on the bathroom wall over the bed near the bathroom door. Folded down, it just clears the mattress. While it might get in the way if two people slept in the bed, as a solo user, it works great for my eye drops, books, a glass of water, etc. The second most used is at the foot of the bed - I have the full height cabinet rather than the table above the storage drawers & Escape installs a "Stooge" table next to the drawers.

While I thought it would be heavily used, the table I added at the end of the kitchen counter (facing the door) is the least used - I've only opened it a couple of times in the 4 months I've owned the trailer. The other two stay open all the time.

All ours stay open but did cut the one by door smaller (made it hard to get in and leave )also 2 in the bed area . But made a longer one on refrigerator wall . The one by kitchen sink holds our drinking water. And the others hold books , glasses, clock . Pen , paper , Eva -dry Dehumidifer tv remote . So everything handy . Pat

We considered putting one on the bed wall backing the bath as we had that wall reinforced. With two people though, one would have to get around the shelf. If only one of us were using the trailer as sometimes is the case, then it would work. So we could always get another one for there later.

I have one on either side of my dinette so I can use them when the table is down also one by the sink by the door for more counter room.

They don't seem to flop around when I drive but I'm not in the trailer when I drive so maybe they are haveing a party!
