Storage: Weight off axle?

While reading the Dexter document, "Operations Maintenance Service Manual 600 - 8,000 Lbs. Axle Capacity", I noticed they recommend/require that the trailer be stored with the weight off the axle(s). Under Storage Preperations, page 81 item #2 is:

"Jack up the trailer and place jack stands under the trailer frame so that the weight will be off the tires. Follow trailer manufacturer's guidelines to lift and support the unit."​

In the 2017 Escape Owner's Manual, I am not able to find any information about how/where the jack stands should be placed. There is an image and description of where to "place the jack under the axle mounting bracket" on page 17 to lift the weight off the tires, but I did not find anything about where to place jack stands for storage.
Four stands on the trailer frame near the corners? Just 2 stands under the axle mounting bracket to take the weight off the axle and then put down the 4 stabilizers to to keep it from rocking on the jack stands? Any thoughts on how best to store the trailer with the weight off the axle/tires?

While I do not leave out 21 on Jackstands for the winter, it would be my opinion that using a total of four stands placed halfway between the axle and the “corner “ on both the front and back axles would give the best uniform support. Seems logical and most stable to me. Add in the stabilizers touching the ground and I think you’d be fine. With the front jack down, that would be 9 points of support. YMMV

All of the current Escape trailer frames are 4"x2" rectangular structural steel tube, so it would not be a problem supporting the trailer at 3 points: tongue, and jack stands each side at the frame as close as can be behind the rear axle (This is also where I jack from for tire changes and brake work). Stabilizers down for support is an excellent choice.

You can always tell if you are twisting the frame if your door starts to catch, otherwise you should be fine.

Our present Casita (going bye-bye soon) has the same axle, and they do recommend storing it unloaded by jacking up the trailer and supporting the frame. There have been many axle replacements on Casita's due them sagging over time. I suppose the rubber in the axles gets harder and compresses with age, so we want to minimize that as much as possible.
