Dear All,
We are announcing a recall on the Suburban SDS2 2-Burner Drop-In Cooktop. This was the standard cooktop installed in Escape Trailers from approximately March 2018 - July 2021. This affects only the SDS2 and does not include any other cooktops or ovens installed by Escape in that period.
Summary: Suburban will replace with a new upgraded unit complete with new 2 year warranty. Escape will reimburse customers for the installation costs up to $100USD or $120CAD.

From an Escape perspective this has taken too long to resolve with Suburban. We learned a lot from the experience, and will be implementing new process to improve for the future.
