I wondering, since this is an "exclusive owners club" of Escape owners, whether we should ask Escape to post/provide on line their manuals and other guides we all receive as owners. A reference guide we can have at our fingertips vs stored away in our units? Am I the only one who thinks this would be helpful to have? What is your opinion? thanks

Perhaps using a service like DropBox would be helpful as it could be limited access to owners only and limit their broader exposure / support.
It also means that changes are done universally.

I believe Escape would run into an issue of copyright. For any manufacturer's operating manual carrying a copyright, and a lot do, Escape would be obliged to solicit permission to reproduce, even digitally, and that could be a formidable undertaking. And with no direct return to Escape.

It would certainly be helpful, though!

I have a binder with plastic sleeves. All of the instruction manuals are in individual sleeves ( I even have the brochure for portable waste tanks ). I keep the binder in the trailer.
I don't have to use a computer, or have an internet connection to read the manual, and the instructions are for the units that were installed in my trailer.

The binder is my approach also, but I've simply three-hole punched those I could, and use sleeves for the rest. I have a scanner, but not enough enthusiasm to use it in order to get everything in pdf format!

A number of the appliance manuals are available on line, usually as PDFs. I keep a set on my laptop as well as on my phone - while I also carry a folder with the Escape manual & the paper versions of the manuals supplied with the trailer, the PDF versions are handy.

I have a page I set up on my website that has links to lots of technical information for RVers at JV's RV Technical Information Page. If anyone finds useful links that are not already there, let me know & I'll add them.

Jon, that is a great list, and I am bookmarking it too. Not that you need to do more work with it, but if they were categorized it would be easier to find things.

I've been in contact with Reace and Tammy and they have no objection to members uploading manuals, documents, wiring diagrams etc, to a "Files" section which we will create.

They asked that a notice be included in the Files section cautioning that manuals and documents uploaded by members may not be the most current, and wiring diagrams, etc may not apply to all units as owners can have custom work done.

We'll get this rolled out as soon as we can.

Most Escapes are so different the manual would not cover every option or every model year. Most look the same on the outside.

Actually we all have same heater, same MaxxAir, water heater, same brand but 2-3 different sized refers, same windows, water pumps, lights, awning, stoves, converter, I see a lot of commonality between them all.
