Taking the plunge

It appears you are about 2 weeks ahead of me, so I can get an idea of where I am in relation to you in your pictures. Thanks.

Here is the one I drew up that we use. It really could use some work with how it is organized, but that takes time, and it does work fine for now, as is.

Like all my checklists, I use it in Excel, and delete all line items I don't want to take, and items I know are in the trailer. I then print the list, and close the file without saving. I do have a few backup copies should I screw something up.

Sokol - Thanks for sharing the pics .. our 19' build is scheduled for the Jan/Feb hatch. Excitement is building and other's pics add to the rush.
cpaHarley & Bennett - My wife just started laughing at the lists .. seems that are others out there like me! Hey, as a pilot I find checklists are a very handy item! ;-)

cpaharley and Jim, thanks for your very detailed lists. My wife and I are enjoying going over them and planning for our future RV needs. Your lists are very helpful and we appreciate your help immensly.

May I add spare fuses and tail-light bulbs?
You likely won't need them, but knowing you have them is worth the minor expense.

Yeah, good thought. I do carry fuses and interior light bulbs. Should add it to the check list.

The tail lights would require changing out the entire thing though, as they are a sealed unit. I imagine even if one LED burned out, they would still work.

Mine are the old fashion kind that can be fixed, and light up when you apply the brakes. ::)

Week 3

Well, week three has gone by and this is what our trailer looks like. She's coming right along isn't she?
