In preparation for the trip to California and then Osoyoos, I washed Prairie Schooner, hooked her up and checked level and tried to install the spare key lock. The lock will not work with the spare, the concentric holes and the smaller lug nut end up bending the lock metal to where it will not function. So, no luck on the lock.
When leveling the hitch for towing, my counter and table show level, but the floor indicates a little low in front?? It looks level and the belly band is level, but why the hecht is the floor not?
Turned the refer to propane and turned the external fan switch on. It is in the mid 70's and the fan is operating on/off as it should. So the set points are lower than the manual specifications. The refer is holding 11/34 on setting 3 with 73 outside. I'll update this report once we hit the 90's in Texas and Oklahoma on Wednesday and Thursday.

Have a great journey Jim. The weather here is supposed to be average normal, according to the weather office.

We do love to see that great green grass.

We're leaving on a trip tomorrow too, for Chinle, AZ. No need for surprises so I can relate, Jim. Saturday I turned on my RM8551, 4 dots, pre-flight with shore power.

Fridge went from a start of 69°f, down to 38° at 10:45am today. All good, so then switched to propane, 4 dots (no fan) and.... by noon today fridge had jumped to 41° !! Damn. (It's currently 85° outside.) Not to worry though, because checked it again at 2pm and fridge now at 39°. (Phew.) You bet will be checking again along the way and oh yes we always bring our backup ice chest.
