Hello!

I know Dave told me this when we picked up our Escape in June and I know I have it written somewhere but ... well, you know how that goes. What's the recommended cold inflation tire pressure for the 17b?

Heading out this weekend again and it's time to check 'em before we go.

Now is that hot air or cold air, because we all know Baglos relationship with the former......sorry, couldnt resist. Heh Heh.

What I didn't note in my reply is that I have 15 inch wheels.

Not sure that that makes a difference. Max pressure is 50 lbs.

Hi: All...All this talk is "Udderly" ridiculous. My RV Tech. set the pressures at 50 for the 5.0. That's the max. printed on the sidewall of the ST 205 15" Goodyear Marathons. The trailer tows great and rides well under pressure. My last gas mileage was 19.36 miles/Imp. Gal or 16.5 miles/US Gal. running at the double nickle 55 mph. ;D Alf

As a hint, just make a little label and post it over the wheel well for a permanent reminder of the correct pressure.

You can place labels here and there, but I have a binder with plastic sleeves.
I keep the instruction manual from Escape in the front pocket and the manuals for the water heater, fridge, etc. in the plastic sleeves. I keep the binder in the trailer.

That's where I found the tire pressure info. 40 to 50 psi max.
45 being the recommended psi.

It's also where I found the instruction manual for the furnace and learned that there was nothing that I could do, but to take my RV into a service centre. From time to time though, I do find it useful to refresh my memory on the operation of the devices I now find myself owning.

I have another book, a diary where I enter all the service I've had done, mileage, trips taken, etc.

The diary is an excellent idea. I keep the manuals in a 3-ring binder in the trailer...and can add pages for a diary there.

Thanks

A juxtaposition of a couple of letters in "diary" and we're back on that earlier, udderly-ridiculous theme.

Hi: All... I too have a binder...but mine is filed in alphabetical order. Everything is under "M" for miscellaneous!!! ;D Alf

Another great suggestion! I think I'll try something similar and file everything in numerical order.
