Thanks Jim. We were thinking about that the other day looking at the trailer in the side yard. Going to be a long time till the snow bank at the road side melts enough to get it out and the yard firms up enough to drive on. Was hoping for some April trout fishing but that may not happen. Weather station says -18F windchill this am, which is very cold for us. Kicking ourselves over cancelling our month reservations in Florida, would have been there now.

Our trailer is in the driveway and shoveled out. We have had 100" of snow this year with most of it falling in the last 3 weeks. Close to 4' on the ground at this point. Hoping to leave for Florida next week...weather permitting!

We have been planning to see Padlin's 5.0 TA on one of the past few weekends but the driving has been too treacherous for a joy ride with the weekend snow storms. The snow is deep here in NH too. -11F this am with the wind howling.
All we can do is work on our build sheet and wait for spring.

We just finished reading that Boston is having the snowiest winter on record , the Canadian East coast is just getting hammered . We have almost no snow in the city , but March is usually our snowiest month .

We are having an average winter (although I did have to shovel my roof) - just under 100" of snow & 8°F high for today (-2°F last night). Still seems worse than normal since I spent last winter in Arizona & California with lows in the 40°F's and highs in the 90°F's.

I feel bad for all those back East folks with their blizzard conditions but since we endure countless comments about living on the Wet Coast or in a rainforest......
My rhubarb is catching up to yours Glen also the honeysuckle vine is greening up and the pond plants are sprouting.

Lookin' good Glenn. Tell me, what do you folks do with Rhubarb? Down here they only seem to use it for pies - mixed with strawberries and a TON of sugar.

Neighbor grew it when I was a kid, every now and then we'd eat it raw like celery. As I recall it was kind of like biting into a lemon.

Robert, most anything one would make with strawberries... Cakes, muffins, pies, cobblers, jams etc. its a weed that just grows well.

C'mon, we're more health conscious now, no more than a half ton of sugar Yes, strawberry and rhubarb pie, one of my favorites.

Rats, I thought I was catching up to Glenn, rhubarb wise. But it looks like his is still a little ahead of mine. His soil looks better than mine, must add fertilizer;D

My mother grew rhubarb and mostly made pie with it, but we also ate it raw this way. To address the sourness, we would dip the end in sugar for each bite.

And I love rhubarb and it would not grow in our back yard. If I don't get some from my aunts yard--I buy it frozen and already chopped up.
