I’m taking uthorns advice and starting a new thread on hybrid tow vehicles. We currently have an 2001 F250 diesel that we will be replacing when we get our new 21C. We are seriously considering the F150 hybrid but realize that Toyota will be introducing their version for 2022 and I’m sure others are on the horizon. I’m throwing this question out to get a feel for your opinions and experiences with hybrid towing. So, what do you think? I know it’s new tech for towing but it appears that manufacturers are working hard on this technology.

From my research you will not see any appreciable difference in towing with the f-150 hybrid over the regular gas engine. The value of the hybrid to me would be the ability to plug the trailer into the hybrid battery anytime, anywhere and operate the AC and all other components. I’m not trading my 2018 F-150 anytime soon, but when I do it’ll probably be a hybrid.
