Hello!
Wondering if anyone has any experience with external TPMS sensors- the type where you replace the original tire stem caps with caps that have a TPMS sensor on them that wirelessly connect to a monitor in the tow vehicle. We are looking for one with a battery option for the monitor as our dash cam plugs into our USB in the truck. I’ve heard that the TPMS caps can cause valve stems to break if you don’t have metal valve stems, etc. which would completely defeat the purpose of having them for safety. I’m only finding mixed reviews on the ones I’m looking at.
We’d appreciate any feedback for those that have one that they like. Thanks so much!
