Can 15" trailer tires and rims go on a 17b that currently has 14" tires and rims?
Is the larger tire worth the extra money?

Mine is also 17B with high-lift and 15" tires.
Currently, Tammy said this morning that they are having email difficulties.

What advantage would 15" tires have over 14" ones? Do they cost more and do they last longer, or travel more smoothly? ;)

I guess that's the question?
I need new tires so why not upsize to 15" is it worth it?
Larger tires make for a smoother drive on the TV.

BTW ... What's the deal with the high lift axle?
Why do people option for that?
Doesn't that just raise the center of gravity?

Clearance on rough off the beaten track type "roads". Like those in BLM areas, or national forests

I just camped next to an old 13' Boler that hat been lifted and also had the 15" tires. Towed by a jeep, the guy said he mostly visits remote spots served by logging roads.

Talk about raising center of gravity! Wish I'd taken a picture.

I ordered the high-lift axle to match the height of my new Toyota Tacoma ( for back country use ), that I hadn't bought yet. Did a test drive of the Taco and the Old Bag reminded me that we were getting older and more decrepit and probably wouldn't be able to climb up into it. So, I ended up with a RAV4 and a high-lift axle.
