Just received my Escape on Friday and already the little clip on the end of the neck lanyard that holds the key is broken....luckily I had a spare keychain :) .
I told my wife I'd file a warranty claim and she just laughed at me!

In all seriousness, so far it looks good. The minor problems I posted earlier seem to have resolved. The lock that didn't work on the cargo access door works after spraying some WD40 into the lock and letting it soak overnight. Ran the AC last night for a bit and no squeak...so we'll have to keep an eye on that.

Spent last night running a swifter over the floor and counters and then let my wife "move in"...I'd hope that maybe she would leave out some of the kitchen stuff we never used in our prior camper, but no it ALL went back in!

I asked that she leave the three cupboards over the dinette for my stuff, but I see she took one of those too.... :ermm:

Lucky you. I was hoping for more than one but all I got was the cupboard under the furnace. I made it my own by removing the back wall. Surprising amount of space, including around into the wheel well, when opened up. Holds all my tools.

I thought that I'd give myself a little extra storage space by creating another cubbie underneath the existing ones. Nope, wasn't my stuff that's ended up in it.

I really like the extra cubbie, my wife asked me what was in that space and I told her I assumed it was some wiring or plumbing....good to see that I should be able to expand into that as she took all the cubbies but one as well...and I'd hoped to stow the dog's stuff in at least two of them (treats, bowls, leash, boots, etc). One of the cubbies has her toiletries....maybe I'll move those into the medicine cabinet (and just not say anything) :whistling:

I asked for three as well but one turned into the game storage area and the other into the bin of "hold all this extra odd stuff". At least I have the big one.:thumb:

FYI, I get 4 hangers in the closet and she has all of the other overhead storage bins.

Zero issues or conflicts using that space. When it's opened up and you look in to the left you can see the red and blue pex supply lines through an opening, but they're not in the cubbie space at all.
