360 w? whats the size and volts of that panel
What mounting brackets did you use with the sikaflex? I see they seem to have a little more surface area. Also really liked your video of the ETI factory tour!As far as I can tell, all solar wiring is done with 10AWG wiring, no problem adding a good amount of solar (at least what your roof can handle!) and we opted out of panels being installed on our trailer in order to throw 800W bifacial monocrystaline on our roof. We always installed with VHB and Eternabond, though this time around the gel coat proved to be a little less cooperative. Our final solution was Sikaflex 252 and it works like a charm! They don't budge and we've been very happy with many miles on now - and no extra holes in our roof!
We used these brackets with three available holes and ended up using two bolts in each connection point. They are malleable with a bit of force, so I was able to get them to conform to the curves of the roof, plenty of surface area to hold well and then Eternabond over to prevent water from pooling in the holes. It may have been just fine without it but I figured I'd use what we have, the tape blends better with the white shell and helps block UV rays should they ever become an issue. What mounting brackets did you use with the sikaflex? I've often considered adding a third panel to my e19 but have always been concerned about bolting down the mounting brackets. Obviously it can be done! Any tips or suggestions?will do three 200w panels now
