Using Global Entry at Border Crossing

I should have posted this with my recent post about what you're allow to bring into/out of Canada, but forgot.

We just got Global Entry ID's last year and have used them when flying domestically, but have not had a chance to use it returning to the US after visiting another country. Does anyone have experience using their Global Entry card instead of a passport when entering the US from Canada with their trailer?

I have a passport and a passport card, but not a Global Entry card. I plan to carry both but just try to use my passport card.
I did see this statement on the Global entry website, if that helps. "We accept Global Entry cards for lawful U.S. entry at land and sea ports of entry. You may use this card for expedited entry into the United States via the SENTRI and NEXUS lanes. The card is not valid for entry into Canada via the NEXUS lanes."

My Nexus card seems to be more dominant over my Global Entry and Sentri clearances but the major benefit to you is being allowed to use the Nexus lane returning to the US. Depends on the location and timing etc. but it can be a huge timesaver.

It's a Trusted Traveler card you pay extra for if you travel frequently across borders.

Well, TSA pre-check comes to mind. I remember the first time that I discovered that benefit that made the slight cost and interviews worth it.

Orlando, hundreds if not a thousand folks lined up for security. TSA pre-check allowed me to walk past the entire melee up to some folks by a sign that said "You don't have to...." Every time that I do that now I feel a little bit guilty, honest.

Speaking of passports I've got mine ready this morning. No Global Entry crossing into Slovenia. Dang.
