Wanting to see Escape 19

Saw outside of two Escapes in FL. Owners not 'home'.
After visiting website on return to Michigan, seriously considering one. Need to see inside of one, hopefully Escape 19.
Live near Grand Rapids, MI, two hours north of Indiana line.
Anyone in 2-3 hr drive that would like to talk to us about Escape and show us theirs?

I am an hour and 20 minutes north of O'Hare. Probably outside of your 2-3 hours, I would guess 4 to 4 1/2 depending on traffic and how you drive. You can PM me if you want further information.


There is a 17B in Three Oaks, MI. I can give you their contact information if you choose.

There is a 19 in the Toronto area as well.

The owner's map (here: https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msi...=37.509726,-93.867187&spn=31.849394,67.631836) doesn't show any particularly near you. I guess the closest ones shown on the map would be Pittsburgh or near Milwaukee.

I suggest you call Escape and ask for a reference near you.

Another alternative for you: visit the Escape rally in Niagara Falls Ontario in September -- you'll find lots of trailers there, with lots of friendly owners happy to show them off.

Thanks for info. The Niagra rally sounds like a great tip. Can you tell me where & when? Left voice mail to someone in Ann Arbor w/ a 17B. Hopefully can see it to see workmanship & materials.

One point on the Niagara Escape - the campground had a motel, great for those wanting to meet & visit with trailer owners. That is the way I attended my first one.

I am not sure what your time frame is. We will have our 19' Escape home by the end of July and are willing to share.We live 16 miles south of South Bend, IN.

Jubal, would very much like to see your 19'. We will be on sailboat in Ludington, MI off & on all summer, but sure we can work something out.
Are you perchance spending some in northern Mi this summer?
Would also be interested in any "tweaking" you have done.

Diane, In the spirit of this forum I am sure we can provide a viewing. We usually camp at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in September but this year we are going to Custer State Park for the Buffalo roundup. We may try to camp at Nordhouse dunes near Ludington in late August. Jubal

Jubal, as summer progresses, let us know when you are available to 'show' us your 19'. We can make arrangements anytime between now & fall. It is 2 hrs for us to Ludington and 2 hrs to my sister's in Elkhart.
Use to backpack & x-c ski at Nordhouse. Lovely area. May be why our son settled in Ludington.

While we regret that circumstances prevented us connecting in Illinois, an Escapee convergence seems to be in our future. Barring any future challenges we will be in the Blue Bell campground at campsite number 8E. Our reservations are for 9/25 through 9/30. We look forward to meeting You and your Great husband.

Jubal, Great Husband and I will be camping in North Stockade Lake, Sept. 25-28 (leaving the morning of the 29th). Another Escape owner has written me and might decide to come for the buffalo roundup, too, making this a mini-rally. --Liz

We will be joing Liz and Great Husband at The Great Buffalo Roundup in Custer State Park on September 27. We have site 31 at Stockade Lake - North and I see there are still a number of sites still available for the week end. It has been 20+ years since visiting Custer, the campgrounds have excellent reviews from rvparkreviews.com, I am sure an excellent visit is in store.

With Jubal present at the same time this does consititute a mini-rally. If we have any more coming it may qualify as a real rally.

Hi,
We are seriously considering an Escape and would also like to see the interior of a 19 and a 17 if possible. We are on the southwest side of Chicago - near Joliet. Would it be possible for us to see the 19 south of South Bend - that is an easy drive for us.

I am probably the closet Escape 19, I am 131 miles from Joilet. It looks like our Escape is having a coming out party this Wednesday 4/17. It has been stored in a local warehouse for the winter.
