Published specs (probably all for first-generation bodies, probably don't change for this year's second generation):I measured the inside length of my 17 and it was 13ft and either. 3 or 4 inches can't recall. So I imagine the 19ft should be around 15ft 3 or 4 inches.so technically I have a 13ft trailer and the 19's are 15ft trailers.
Published specs (probably all for first-generation bodies, probably don't change for this year's second generation):
Those are outside body lengths, but with single-wall fiberglass construction the interior length isn't much less. The four-foot difference between body length and overall length is roughly three feet of tongue plus one foot of rear bumper and spare tire.
- Escape 17: overall length = 17'-8"; body length = 13'-8"
- Escape 19: overall length = 19'-6"; body length = 15'-8"
- Escape 21: overall length = 21'-4"; body length = 17'-4"
Most of the trailer industry identifies trailers by body length (or deck length in the case of flat-deck cargo trailers), not by overall length, so the Escape 17',19' and 21' would be 14-foot, 16-foot, and 17-foot models (assuming rounding to the nearest foot), respectively. Among moulded fiberglass travel trailers, overall length is more commonly used.
