In the last couple of days, if I log onto the Escape forum and click on a topic or forum item I get this error message:

"This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies".

I'm running Windows 10.

I have placed the forum address as to accept cookies via Windows security/privacy menu. Still no change.

I've now discovered, if I wait a minute or 2 after this error message screen, and hit RETRY, voila!.......... I get the topic or posting.

What, in great Caesar's ghost, is going on, and how may I eliminate this most annoying process?

This does not occur on my iPad.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

To both of you scoundrels......I will call, but what are your phone numbers? I'm having some sleep disturbance issues currently, so those CODE RED calls may be coming in around 3:12 AM.
Sleep tight.

Don’t be offended when Jake answers the call. The phone is on his side. He’s getting pretty good with all these caucus calls coming in.

Just got word that a friend of mine got arrested in New Jersey this afternoon. He was caught stuffing cannabis down the throat of a shorebird. Seems he did not want to leave any Tern unstoned.

Since the iPad is working fine, I'd replace MS with a MacBook Air and OS.
Since the forum works fine in Chrome on Windows 10 and Android, I'd switch to Chrome... for a few thousand dollars less than a visit to the Apple store.

Iowa Da'vid,
That joke is Mine!, with a different twist. Please refrain using or repeating it, or I will have a restraining order issued by da judge on you. Now....go to sleep, but be alert at 3:12 AM.

Rodger, out.

Who else besides Apple makes 50% margin on electronic devices? That's why everywhere except North America Android devices dominate.

Struggling with this comment. Are you saying Capitalism sucks? Are you saying success sucks? Are you saying North Americans are suckers?

Please clarify.

I noticed I had a missed call this morning at 3:12. I do not have a dog trained to answered so it went to voice mail. There was no message left.

With regards to your problem, I have had issues with Windows 10 and their browser - Edge. Mostly due to security implementations. Several thoughts on what to do:
  1. Restart your computer
  2. Clear the cache inside your browser (it varies depending on which one you are having issues)
  3. Search inside windows for internet explorer. Their old browser is still available but not with an icon or shortcut. Launch it and see if you still have the problem.
  4. Download Google Chrome as an alternative browser and see if that solves things.

I too experienced the same problem. I'm using Firefox and it appears to have started around the same time they released their latest update. Like you, I've tried adjusting settings with no luck. Everything works in Crome and Safari, but my preference it to use FF for forum readings. Hopefully things will workout over time.

Yes, the problem is with Firefox

Chrome works fine, same with Safari. Heartening to know it's not just me with this issue. PITA, regardless. I'll just switch to using Chrome. I don't use Explorer.
