What do you think the average age of an escape owner is?

The Boaterhome was a legit boat, that launches from its van carrier.

pretty cool

18 wheels? 18 propellors?

A fellow here in Cheddar Land built this rig. He was, of course, a retired trucker.
I wonder what his MPG is?

apparently this company in the Lake Havasu or Vegas or something area built 20 or so of these, only a couple remain.

Did that still have the diesel drivetrain still it? If so, must have been really heavy.

Had never seen this thread; glad to see it resurrected. Glad to see I'm not the oldest one here, too ("39 and Holding"):

the boat uses a mercury I/O drive. the vans are modified to be FWD, and I assume gas. I'm assuming the FWD is a F350 style front axle and a transaxle locked into 4H with no rear axle.

It's real, and unreal

It almost looked photoshopped, but nope, it's real. Must have been a ton of work to build.

The rig made the local TV news, yachting on nearby Lake Wisconsin.
Long cold Winters hereabouts drive some folks to their shops to mess about, so there's time to tinker.
Smart folks head South for the Winter.

Very old thread but... I'm 72 and she is 73 and we just bought our Escape 19. Camped the last 10 or 12 years in a teardrop trailer. Essentially a "queen" sized bed on wheels.

2/3 of my clothes are old enough to vote and the rest are juniors in High school. Some days I feel kind of old but others I do dumb stuff that only a junior high kid should be doing.
Went to an emotional wedding last week. It was so emotional even the wedding cake was in tiers.

Bought our 2018 5.0 from Fred Lew (Flew), in Calgary in Sept of 2019, we are the third owners. I was 69, Maureen was much younger. We have 8 Grand kids, a male and then 7 Girls. We now have 12 Great Grand kids, 9 males and 3 females. The oldest will be 12 in May. One forum member has admitted to 86 and I know we have one Gentleman the just turned 90. I am 84 and Maureen is still much younger.

My wife and I average out to 50.

We are 2nd year owners and have been trailer camping as a family for 15y or so. Both of us camped as kids with our respective families.

I'm staring down the big 5-0 later this year. 20 does not feel like it was 30 years ago!

I did a lot tent camping in the bush during my younger years, but am very new to the RV game. This year will be my third season.

I maintain a secondary career during the spring/summer/early-fall which requires me to commute out of town 2-4 days weekly. My E19 serves as a home-away-from-home. Long term, I hope to travel more extensively in the winter. I decided that if I was going to invest in a trailer, it was going to be something that should meet my needs for the next couple of decades.
