Wow! It was there early this morning; I was showing it to someone.


Edit: Did a little more exploring. The 15 is still listed on the Home page; The 15 demo they just built is still for sale (bottom of the home page).

It is still mentioned on the home page but not on the list of trailers. It also doesn't appear in the production schedule. If Escape is following the forum maybe Reace can comment/clarify.

Oh my, the loss of this model would bring tears to my eyes as it was the only model I wanted when I was buying...I might have had to settle for something else. (Or maybe I would have gone elsewhere or done without.) :'(

I think that we are here, as Escapees, because it is an outstanding trailer, AND (yes, a Big and ) Reace and Tammy run a business that is more than just the cash generation. They are truly involved, and enjoy being involved, in the iterations and the evolution of their babies.

I wouldn't argue with that a bit and you would have to go a long way to find another trailer manufacturer that works so hard to accommodate the customer. Reace gave us a personal tour of the plant and I sure don't know where else that would happen. Loren

Not only a personal tour, but a ton of sound advice and good conversation about tow vehicles, locations for options, and other ideas. One of the best customer service experiences I've EVER had.

We are one month out in ownership of our 17b, camping in temps as low as -7F and are generally satisfied, but I can't imagine making the bed/dinette transition every day as one would have to do with the 15. Another point not mentioned is that you can't really go any smaller with a tow vehicle if you get a 15 vs. 17. To Karen's and other responders point, we aren't pining away for anything larger either!

Yardsale: We've been 15b owners for a couple of years now. Last summer we traveled for almost a full month to the east coast and back. The process of converting the bed/dinette transition is not all that difficult. We do enjoy the small size and are not looking to upgrade. There have been a couple of times when a u-turn was possible for us and would have been impossible for longer rigs. Smaller can also be fun. That's our 15b on the February Escape calendar in the middle of much longer vehicles. We gave a lot of tours that day.

While I don't think doing the bed thing everyday would be a big deal for a couple, it was a consideration for me so I use my front dinette as a permanent bed. This works well as my rear table is very difficult for me to remove as it's very tight.

If someone was to tow Egbert down to Bay View State Park on say....March 20th....for a weekend of camping.....I would not object. Just sayin'.
