What is this hose filled with water? Will it burst if it freezes? Is there a way to drain it? Can I insulate it with a foam sleeve or fiberglass tape??
We are going to be camping at Kartchner Caverns next week and one night it is forcasted to get to 27 degrees. Of course it will only be for a couple of hours, but why take any chances, right?
This will be the first time we are hooked up to electric and water, as well. We have only been dry camping thus far.
TIA for your response.

That is the supply hose from the fresh water tank to the water pump. If you are worried about it freezing, just drain the fresh water tank using the white valve next to the hose connection.

IF you are going to camp in freezing weather often, an electric traced water hose and full hookup might be something to consider.

Those aren't hooked up. We upgraded to the See Level monitors. They are there if we ever decide to go with the standard tank monitors.

Thank you! I was looking at that Camco hose. Maybe we will pick one up, just in case.
