We are installing a towing connector on our truck and wondering what kind of plug is used for the 19-foot trailer.

so your TV will need an adapter to match. Depending on the make and model of your vehicle, a factory adapter may be available or you could search by make model and year
I've towed several different types of trailers with several different types of vehicles. I don't understand the need for an adapter. Do you mean if your tow vehicle doesn't have a 7pin or 4 pin outlet?

If anyone wants to shorten Amazon links, and eliminate all of the search criteria, possibly some personal info, etc. just find the /ref fairly early in the link and put the cursor on the slash or between the slash and the letter r. Then just push and hold the delete key until everything after that is gone. You can leave the slash or backspace it back out, just don't disturb anything before it. Then hit the enter key, the page will reload with the shorter link in the address bar, which you can then highlight and copy, to paste in your post.

XenForo software then takes the link and gives it the name you see below, from the the URL.
Amazon.com

If you absolutely want the shortened link to appear, Paste it and then edit out the HTTPS://www. that is at the beginning of the link.

amazon.com/CURT-58141-7-Way-Blade-Connector/dp/B001GN6PQ8

This particular version of XenForo works differently than what is used in RV Forum.

Its a little tricky till you get the hang of it, as your first click on the address bar causes it to move, and you have to reposition the cursor before you start deleting.

Something else you can do is to type something like "Curt 7 Way connector" and then realize you want to make that a link. Just highlight what you typed, then click the link symbol, and then drop the actual link in the URL bar and hit the INSERT button.

Easier just to select the text (e.g. name of item) you want to link, and hit the Insert Link icon in the post tool bar, then paste in the URL (address). Then users can just access your link by clicking on the highlighted text. Try it; you'll like it!
