What to store in extra tube?

I decided to store my swivel stick in a pvc pipe instead of the extra tube that came with the escape.

What do you all store in the extra tube if you have one? Are there any outdoor rugs that fit in there?

Our rugs wouldn't fit but a spare tube is where I store my aluminum tubes to make a clothes line when there aren't any trees around.

After 2 1/2 years & about 50,000 miles, the "door" of one of my tubes fell off, & my spare stinky slinky fell out. Fortunately, my slinky with the elbow & the connector were still there. I'll keep both my tubes to hold sewer hoses. :)

Vermilye will know the size of the storage tube. It is a plastic fence post from HD or Lowe's.

This is picture of when I was installing outside access next to the water heater. You can see the ladder tube under the heater.

I ordered from Home Depot 2 each, 7 foot length, 5"x 5" square black vinyl fence posts with black colored end caps, I installed 2 of these aft of the factory installed dwincorp round tube. I fabricated my own end cap retainer pins out of 1/8" brass rods.

I also installed a dwincorp single short expandable sewer tube aft of the square tubes that holds a short 6 foot sewer hose.

In my tubes I store my long 20 ft sewer hoses, sewer fittings, outdoor carpet, fishing rods, flag poles, antennas, etc.... I'm super pleased to have the extra storage flexibility.

We’re also using a GP Logistics 6’ folding step ladder, carried inside our extra 4.5” diameter sewer hose storage tube. It’s a snug fit but works great.

We store 2 pieces of "astro turf" type grass mats. They are about 3' x 5' and about 1/4" thick/tall. I roll them up and slide them in the extra tube. We usually put on the ground beneath the trailer step. We carry a large RV type mat in our truck bead that we use to create an area for our lounge chairs further away from the trailer.

I have a 7’ ladder, so it’s on the bumper. I did add a second tube for those rare occasions I need a long sewer hose extension.

Do all of you have the GP Logistics ladder? I can’t find it in stock anywhere and i can’t find a similar one either.

I had a hard time finding one in stock as well. However I was able to pick one up on Craigslist. You may want to look at the Telesteps folding STIK ladder which appears to be nearly identical to the GP Logistics and is currently available.

Thanks for the tip, Jim. The STIK ladder looks great AND available in Canada.
