I understand that these a a 2 pic shell but what is used for flooring under the vinyl flooring , is it wood? is it on top of the fiberglass or is it fiberglassed in ?

Escape glasses a sheet of plywood on top the bottom of the shell after it is moulded, to smooth it out, and give somewhere to affix things to.

Thanks That was what i was hoping they did.so if there is a leak of some kind how it get to the drain holes in the shell?

Wooden half-inch subfloor isn't sealed to the shell sidewalls. Room for water to get through.

I thought it was 5/8" ply, but can't remember for sure. I remember buying screws to redo the pedestals after installing 3/8" of cork, and though I used 5/8" in my calculating. Maybe the shell is holding too. :)

Yes, I also believe it's 5/8". I drilled an 1 1/2" hole through it for extra wiring and could see the cross-section quite clearly. I used nutserts for my table base and they worked fine for the 5/8" plywood.
