Which TV???

Just ordered our new E-21 for delivery in a few months.. We are wondering what TV do you all recommend..we are not avid users of TV, but want one w a decent DVD palyer that is easy to use..and we want a tv about 19" so it does not overwhelm the trailer. Any ideas??? TV of course must be able to be attached to the ETI swing mounts.

I bought the Skyworth 22" from RoadTrucker.com. While I tested the DVD to ensure it worked, I do not use it to know how well the DVD quality is. It does not support blue-ray. The TV works fine and it does fit on the ETI bracket. (I think any TV in this size range will work). I do think 22" is about as big as you want to go.

I picked this one because it was 12v. Many of the name brands are 120v AC only. That may have changed. It doesn't matter if you always have shore power.

I bought a 24" Samsung Smart TV. We don't use it very much but it works great for us. We keep it stored in the closet when not in use. At first I just used a 300W portable inverter to power it and the computer with the movies on but can now just use my installed inverter as needed.

Some here seem to like going for 12V systems and nothing wrong with that, but I had trouble finding one I liked, and found our after buying that there is really no issue with the 120V unit as it draws so little that the solar has never had an issue keeping up.

I had to look it up as I didn't have a clue what it could be. I guess I'll never be able to text with the younger crowd. ;D

Those young’ns come up with some stuff all right. And if you have teen or sub teen grand kids they have their own lingo and abbreviations to. Of their creativity I am Totes Jelly. Totally jealous.

I bought a Sharp 24" Roku tv for our trailer. The mounting holes on the back are too far apart to use the ETI bracket. I'll make an adaptor plate out of 1/8" aluminum to mate the two together.
We had trouble finding a smart tv under 24".

I will second the recommendation for the 22" Skyworth from Roadtrucker: 22" Skyworth LED 12 Volt TV DVD Combo SLC2221A. It has a surprisingly good picture quality for the price and the DVD player works just fine. I went with it over the 19" because it has better speakers, and the sound is more than adequate for the trailer.

I tried another wall mounted arm and didn't like it - not only did it require tightening knobs at each joint to hold it in place, but it had some slop in it and the TV leaned when the arm was extended. The joints are firm and hold the TV level when the arm is extended. They don't require any tightening, you just move the arm to adjust it to any position and they hold it there. And it has a spring-loaded button that locks the arm in place when it is pressed against the wall, a great feature for travel. You just pull down on a little chain to release it and then the arm can be moved to any position.
