Why is it?

Not an earth shattering problem and I have tried to find a solution but with no luck. Why is it with this forum when I click on a thread I most often end up in the middle of the thread. Can you opt to open the first or last post?

Eddie, if you click on a thread in the "Recent Discussions" box on the right, it will take you to the first unread post. If you click on the title in "New Posts", or when browsing through the forum, it will take you to the first post, or clicking on this button

will take to to the first unread post. As far as going to the last post directly, I am not aware of a way to do that.

There is a way to go to the last post of a thread. In the list of forums, the most recently updated thread is shown. If you select a forum, all the threads are shown. The last post is listed for each thread shown, and there is an arrow (highlighted in the screen grab to follow) which takes you to that last post.

Thanks for the replys. I have been viewing posts here from the Recent Dicussion area. I will try using the forum headings section and see how it goes.
