It is a common practice to remove the body after 15-20 years and place the floor on them according to their forums. This does not happen in Escapes

the archives show Escape rivets have leaked.
Where they exist, yes. It's just that Escapes don't use rivets except for mounting things like grab handles, water inlet, belly band holder, etc. That's a far cry from hundreds of rivets all over the shell. The fewer holes in the shell, the better.
