After reading that article where is seems Ford admits that towing demands on an engine with boost shortens the engine life, thus the introduction of this new motor and and reinforces what I always thought, there is no replacement for displacement.....

and then there is this, an email I just received on the new Electric Mustang 4dr SUV
Jim,

Have you heard?

For the first time in 55 years, Ford is expanding the Mustang family into the electric age with Mustang Mach-E, an all-new, all-electric SUV born of the same all-American ideals that inspired the best-selling sports coupe in the world.

Mustang Mach-E instills confidence, targeting an EPA-estimated range of at least 300 milesı with the available extended-range battery and rear-wheel drive.

Faster off the line than a Porsche Macan Turbo2, Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Edition brings the thrills Mustang is famous for, targeting 0-60 mph in the mid-3-second range and an estimated 459 horsepower and 612 lb.-ft. of torque.

Those numbers are astonishing.....
