Crystal Cove Beach Resort - Tofino BC - Review
Yep.. this is another quick 3 minute video..
This park definitely has the resort feel to it, although some of the sites are small, but with some careful planing and early reservations this park can be a BIG winner. It's adjacent to McKenzie Beach a quick two minute walk put your feet in the sand. We also like this park's location to Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park. If stay here again we would definitely reserve/book site eight!

Hi Jeff,
Please tell me a little bit more about site 8. Why recommended? Is it wide, lots of trees and is it a site that would be fairly easy for a newbie to back into?
Thank you!

# 8: It's long, more private and off the main road in the resort. It's our favorite!!! Wash rooms are super clean and free showers. A quick walk to the beach, a short bike ride into Tofino and a short drive to Long Beach. Highly recommended.

hello Thanks for sharing review. Just wanted to ask one question. What is the best time to visit the park to see maximum wild animals?

April through late September is best for wildlife. The humpback and grey whales are in, perhaps even Minkes. The guy sea lions are hanging out as well in groups as well. If you are lucky you might see Orcas. Salmon are running early July. Bears will be out and about the same time and it is not uncommon to see them on the golf course.. ... Maybe another reason why I do not golf. Wolves are around as well but you will probably not see them as they are pretty reclusive. Scared yet?!!!
Forgot to mention earlier, # 8 is an easy back in, as are all the other sites at the resort.

We are staying at Crystal Cove right now. It is the most expnsive place we've stayed, but they don't ding you for firewood and showers. We are in site 85. It was very tight to get in. Many people park their TV perpendicular to their RV.
Lots of families. Right now the people next to us have small screaming children. The sites are very close together and you cannot avoid overhearing convsations. We are leaving a day early togo to a provincial park.
Site 8 IS more private, I also liked #63 and 86, but we will probably not comeback. It is far too crowded and noisy. We prefer quiet.
We drove trhough Green Point campground in Pacific Nat'l Parkand noted a number of atteactive sites. That thas to be booked months in advance
