Ft. Pickens Road Open

Some pictures of them clearing the road to Fort Pickens after Patricia gave us some wind and rain.

Sure looks like snow

It sure looks like snow, but having enjoyed a week at Ft. Pickens a couple of years ago...........I believe you & the pictures. I took some too........back then.....in February...and they looked like a Wisconsin county road in February........high banks along the road....except it was 60F and sunny, and just dry, drifting sand. Good luck to all in Florida with rising sea levels.

We should be okay, our house is on top of a Florida mountain - 107 feet above sea level.

Wow, I didn't hear about this. I was thinking about going down there on Saturday just to get away from the trick-or-treaters. Guess I'd better check first to see if the road is open. Thanks for the photos.

The road to Ft. Pickens was closed as of early this afternoon. Oh well.

Hi Ray, Walter and I are in line to get our Escape 21 next May the 3rd, a long way off. We have a home in South Fl and in TX and will be driving through Pensacola on Wednesday on our way back to TX. Is there any chance we could visit and learn more about the trailers? Wish we had spent more time looking and asking questions about the Escape. We have gotten good info from this site though. Let us know soon. We just found about you the other day on this site. Nancy and Walter.

Nancy, better to PM Ray as he hasn't been here for about 10 days.

Click his name, then select "send private message..." in the drop down menu. Baglo has a picture somewhere to help show this.
