Ah yes, SOLAR, another option I would definitely add on ( hindsight is always 20/20), we use a 40 watt portable panel which has worked well, but is a pain to set up every day! Thanks for info.

On our new 21, I asked if the solar controller could be moved so that it was more visible -- but was told that it needs to be close to the batteries for some reason. I really wish ours was above the fridge, with the other gauges.

Controller works better the less wire between it and the batteries as a longer length of wiring increases the voltage lost between the controller and battery.

Beautiful. We love the rich earthy red tones too.

Congrats, love your color choices!

I envy you getting your trailer soon.
Nice choice of colours for the fabric and counters.

Yes we are. And as I type this, Susannah is filling out the forms to volunteer in National Parks. Big Bend, Texas is our first "destination", hopefully in 2016.

Looks like we're about 10 days ahead of you. Our orientation is scheduled for May 5. Next, we plan to camp for a night or two somewhere near Chilliwack for a shakedown. Then head off to the south-east towards Denver and back to ((work)). I'm saying that very quietly...

Alan,
I have friends that are just finishing up their 3 month stay as volunteers at Big Bend.
