2005 Escape 17A - We have a well maintained Escape 17A that we are putting up for sale. We are the 3nd owners and have enjoyed using it over the past years. No-one has ever smoked in it! Here are some of the upgrades:
Front dinette was converted to a permanent bed with massive lift-up storage underneath.
Shelves were installed in the closet/pantry which gives a lot more storage.
2 20lb propane tanks and 2 deep cycle batteries with 40W solar panel. You can stay camping for a VERY long time in this unit.
New tires 2019.
New vinyl plank flooring done 2020.
New propane lines summer 2020
Added a MaxAir Fan (reversible), installed at Trademasters in Chilliwack BC. (Recommended by Escape) 2020
Added a super Sirocco II interior fan. (

Added 2 USB ports (2 plugs each) and a battery power monitor. 2020
Small crack in fiberglass repaired by Fraswerway RV in Abbotsford. January 2023. We have pictures and details of work done.
Everything works! Fridge keeps things cold and the freezer keeps everything frozen with the fridge set at 3-4. Furnace works great. Stove works. Batteries hold charge well. Fiberglass is all in good solid shape, no cracks etc. Water pump works well. Trailer brakes work perfectly. Rear dinette folds down into a 2nd bed (sleeps 4 total). Tows beautifully behind our 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring. We liked this model because it was light enough to tow with our van. (GVWR - 1590)
Defects: Decals have faded in the sun over the past 18 years.
Comes with great port-a-potty.
Batteries are charged and there is plenty of propane in the tanks.
