Someone brought them in to work the other night (along with the "ribs" one)
Not bad but didn't realize they were poutine--the ribs--yeah I knew them!(and looking forward to them at the pub on Thursday night...

Maybe not so scary, they are PC World of Flavours Poutine Flavour Rippled Potato Chips... so basically just gravy and cheese flavoured potato chips. They have some stranger flavours...

Oh no! The p-word just wont go away! Dehydrated poutine? I'm thinking I underestimated its popularity. Sort of like 1 minute grits down here!

And to think I thought that'd be me that would miss my social cue and mention poutine first

Man, with eggs, I just might be tempted

More like flavoured corn chips... just chips, not to be rehydrated.

And as we all know "No self-respectin' Southerner uses instant grits."

rally to try poutine

A local restaurant has poutine on the menu with a picture, it makes my arteries suck in a bit. Since we only live once we have tried to go there twice, each time there was a long line of people waiting to get in so Nancy and I will wait for the Canadian version.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect the photog didn't or couldn't select a high enough shutter speed to alleviate the chopper vibration, especially if the camera was pressed up against a window.

We'd take the door off if we could.
Did a 360 degree circle of a drill ship up in the Beaufort Sea. Pilot didn't explain what he was going to do before doing it. He tracked across the ice just above the ground, then climbed the ship tower and laid the chopper on its side as we did the rotation, facing straight down.
I was trying to shoot pictures and keep my camera bag ( which was unsecured on the floor ) from scooting out the door opening.

To overcome the cost and vibration problems of a helicopter maybe we could try using a real long "selfie stick" this year.

Ian If everybody would bring a 6 foot piece of PVC in 1 inch and a coupler, and someone would bring about a quart of cleaner and a quart of glue and some good tape to hold the IPhone, we could fit up a pretty long selfie stick, set a timer, get a crew together, view a picture of the flag raising on Iwo Jima to get the push up angle right and give her a go. Dave.

Ian. Better yet, who has a drone? And are they legal in Canada? Maybe Ginger Zee would loan us one of hers?

Actually, all that's needed is a really tall ladder. The angle makes for a much better picture.

I was wondering why I'd never seen the group shot from the helicopter. Not really surprised though, it made two passes at the speed of light. Whatever happened to hover?

Anyway, helicopters are are so yesterday, you're right someone must have a drone.

Or a super long selfie stick, of course being in the land of Red Green, we'd have to use duct tape to hold it together.
