This sucks
Yes we are in the same boat, how could we get a lake side spot and not be included in the festivities? I don't understand how this can happen as there was still 24 spots of the 160 left when we got the lake side unit. This is our first time to this event, and so far I'm not impressed. Just saying. And yes I'm a little upset.

Oh, man. That’s a bummer, and you’re right. One of the first priorities in planning an event like this is keeping an accurate up-to-date tally of attendees. Samuel seems like a very conscientious person, so I’m sure he is sincerely regretful about this foul up. That doesn’t help you though, I know. Something to look forward to next year then, at least?

Of course, we are still looking forward to next year! And I know that Escape is a trailer manufacturer and not an event planner, so I'm willing to forgive them...eventually....probably after my glass of beer ....

If peeps are having to cancel their trip plans due to ETI inability to monitor reservations correctly, this is not their first rodeo so to speak. They should pay for any cancelation fee one might incur if you are not able to modify your trip. I myself would be having a phone call with Sam. Thats just me, an old cantankerous geezer. That said do they not have any other site available for general public that one might be able to get. If you’re there but not in the group area why would you not be able to partake in the activities.

Nk'Mip called us last week to confirm that we still wanted our reservation. We booked really early. They also confirmed that we were part of the Escape Rally.
So there's obviously some behind the scenes efforts going on to accommodate as many as possible.
Personally I'd take my chances on a cancellation, life sometimes does get in the way and they do happen.
In the meantime let's cut them a little slack, it's a huge undertaking and not their primary business.

Is there some one from the rally that confirms my reservations at the campground. I am all logged in to the campground, but what about ESCAPE RALLY confirmation?

The campground reservation is not tied directly to the Escape Rally. As Escape requested you just need to inform them of your site on a link on their website. I did this, then got an email recently asking what all events we wanted to participate in and a few other things like name tags and permission to list our names and site on the participant list.
It is not an easy task arranging everything for an event like this.

Vickiervsd, Go to escapetrailer.com and click on the 3 bars at the top of the page. Click on OWNERS IN drop-down menu and look for the 2024 Rally.

Reading the post from Samuel;
Campers that have a site but are not part of the 160 original campers are welcome and encouraged to participate in all but the few evens that Escape is providing item for (Friday dinner/Saturdays breakfast/etc).
Escape only planed and bought enough items for the 160 they anticipated.
Sometimes the best laid plans of mice and man……..
Women too!
I give Samuel and the rest of the crew at ETI a little slack, they are doing double duty filling in when being short handed. I’m sure Samuel is thrilled to have the opportunity to lead ETI, but there is a learning curve and hopefully he will grow into it.
I look forward to meeting them and everyone else at the Grape Escape (cute name)

Our summer travel plans have recently changed and we won't be able to attend the Rally this year. I have just cancelled our site for the Rally.....it was Site #3 which is a fairly convenient site. I just thought I'd post this in case someone still needs a site or wishes to move.

Sorry to hear that you can't make the rally.
That is a nice site and I'm sure someone will glad to get it.
